Indicast #17 - Cricket & Miss World
We are (like any other Indian) passionate about cricket. So we had initially planned this episode to be about what we feel about the “Young” Team India. But as it happened, we recorded this episode the same day that Team India was embarrassed by a depleted England team so it ended up being a rant. Then the second topic that we squeezed in was the Miss India Contest.
Also, in our typical style we talk about non-sense stuff from here and there. We just hope no one takes offense to it. I ask a very valid question in all the TP that was going on.

@ A Name : Whats with the name? did you get lost in the mumbai crowds? and yes the sachin booing was sad. Patrix has a good blog post about it.

This was a great episode. I love the episodes when the conversation flows naturally spiced with apna bambaiya humor…without sounding too brokeback-mountain-ish, I must say there is excellent chemisty between you two complete with personal digs and stuff

Patrix : yeah we had sort of decided that we will not throw any stats or number and just be ourselves…. and abhishek gives me a lot of to pull his leg on. But he takes it well as well and Infact, in college the girls suspected asked us question that ended in “Are you guys sure?”

but pratithi sounds a lot like a girl’s name. come on which self respecting parent would call their son prathiti? its like calling your daughter “ram kumar”

I am surprised that Abhishek missed out on Ravi !!! Abhishek is worth nothing when it comes to these “out of the box” questions. Khalli corporate talk karta.
Ram kumar would be a hilarious female name. Imagine the reaction to “Hello.. this is my sister (or daughter or gf or bhabhi), Ram Kumar” Havoc !!!!

Pratiti: Thanks for being a sport!!! I had asked Adi to edit the portion, but thankfully he went ahead and published it and see, we have quite a few people raking their brains searching for a guy’s name ending with ‘i’.
